Sella Marie Smith Poston: Loris

    Sella Marie Smith Poston of Loris passed away Monday, March 16 at Loris Rehab and Nursing Center following an illness. She was 77.
     Mrs. Poston was born on Oct. 27, 1937 in Ash, a daughter of Mr. Olen Smith and Mrs. Kate Babson Smith.
    Mrs. Poston was a homemaker and a longtime member of Bethany Baptist Church.
     Survivors include her daughter, Janice P. Ward and husband, Bill of Loris; four sons, Danny Mitchell Poston and Albert Lee Poston and wife, Cheryl all of Conway, Ricky McLaurin Poston and wife, Kim of Myrtle Beach, and Jerry Lynn Poston of Loris; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Charlie Smith and wife, Genevie of Wilmington, and her sweetheart, Carl Prince.
     In addition to her parents Mrs. Poston was predeceased by her husband, Albert Leon Poston, one brother, Everett Smith and one sister, Margaret Simmons.  
     Graveside services were held 11 a.m.Wednesday, March 18 at Bethany Cemetery with Pastor Robert Lewis officiating.
