Albert Gause, Jr.: Tabor City

    Albert Gause, Jr. of Tabor City passed away Thursday, March 19 at Premier Living and Rehab Center in Whiteville. He was 85.
    He was the son of the late Rev. Albert Gause, Sr. and Evelyn Bellamy Gause.
    Survivors include three daughters, Lee Ethel Vereen, Patricia Valow, and Charnel Gause; six sons, Charles Vereen, Albert Gause, III, Franklyn Vereen, Albert Lee Vereen, Darrell Vereen, and Marvin Vereen; one brother, Lewis Walker Gause.
    Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Thursday, March 26 from the Holy Light Holiness Church in Tabor City with Elder John C. Williams delivering the eulogy. Burial followed in the Columbus County Singing Union Cemetery, Tabor City.
