Annie Nell Watson James: Loris

    Annie Nell Watson James of Loris passed away Sunday, April 12, at her home, following an illness. She was 80.
    Mrs. James was born on Dec. 30, 1934 in Loris, a daughter of the late Mr. William Devon Watson and the late Mrs. Nina Livingston Watson. She retired as a teachers assistant with the Horry County School System and was a longtime member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
     Survivors include her son, Jeffrey James and wife, Kris of Loris; her daughter, Sandra Parker and husband, Stanley of Longs; her four grandchildren, Jacob and Joshua Parker of Longs and Ashley and James Carignan of Loris; and her sister, Marlyn Hardee of Irmo.
    In addition to her parents, Mrs. James was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Mr. Willie Joe James; five brothers, Franklin J. Watson, Arlees B. Watson, Elton Watson, Johnny W. Watson and Hybert Watson; and two sisters, Helen W. Holmes and Carol Bohanna.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Hardwick Funeral Home, Loris.
    Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at Macedonia Baptist Church with Pastor Allen Singletary officiating, committal services following at Patterson cemetery.
