Mitchell Livingston: Supply

    Mitchell “Jake” “Shorty” Livingston of Supply passed away Saturday, April 11, at the Brunswick County Hospice Care Center in Bolivia. He was 66
    Born Oct. 23, 1948 in Loris, he was the son of the late Willie Livingston and the late Maggie Thompson Livingston. Mr. Livingston was a truck driver and of the Baptist faith.
    Survivors include his significant other, Vera Livingston Neal of Supply, daughters Pamela Lynn James and husband, Teinne of Whiteville, and Angela M. Pyatt and husband, Solomon of Myrtle Beach; brothers Jerry “Petty” Livingston, and wife Betty Jo of Thomasville, Ricky Livingston of Tabor City, and Billy Ray Livingston and wife, Lynne of Evergreen; sisters Earline Phipps, Judy Watts and Loraine “Charlie” Hardwick and husband, Michael all of Tabor City; lifelong friend John “Eubanks” Suggs and wife, and seven loving grandchildren and six loving great-grandchildren.
    In addition to his parents, Mr. Livingston was predeceased by his brothers, Billy Joe Livingston, John D. Livingston, Paul Livingston, and A.Z. Thompson; and his sister, Joyce Ann Livingston.
    Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Reverend Kenny Nance officiating. Committal services followed at Live Oak Cemetery in Loris.
