Clarence Truman Buffkin: Tabor City

    Clarence Truman Buffkin of Tabor City died Tuesday, April 21, in McLeod Loris hospital. He was 68.
    Born Aug. 9, 1946 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Clarence L. Buffkin and Lottie Mae Hodge.
    He is survived by his wife, Connie Miller Buffkin; two sons, Graham Buffkin of Wake Forest and Scott Buffkin of Tabor City; one daughter, Shauna Treadaway of Whiteville; two brothers, Joe Buffkin of Tabor City and Charlie Buffkin of Ocean Isle Beach; three sisters, Margaret Rodriquez of Pompey, Florida, Susan Butler of Clarkton, and Barbara Green of Whiteville; and three grandchildren.
    Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 23, in Cherry Grove Baptist Church, Cerro Gordo.
    A Celebration of Life was planned for 3 p.m. Friday, April 24, in Cherry Grove Baptist Church, Cerro Gordo.
