Tony Waddell: Rock Hill

     Tony Waddell of Rock Hill, died Saturday, April 11 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte. He was 74.
    Born in Tabor City, Mr. Waddell was preceded in death by his parents, Rosier Waddell and Emma Irene Soles Waddell, his daughter, Amanda Ruth Waddell; brothers, Jerry, Jiggs, and Randy Waddell.
    He graduated from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 1966 and was a retired new home salesman.
    A memorial service was held 2 p.m. Monday, April 13 at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel in Rock Hill with Rev. Tom Tucker officiating.
     Survivors include his wife, Barbara Waddell; daughter, Memory Thompson (Mark); son, Kyle Waddell, Sr. (Amy); grandchildren, Emily Catherine Waddell, Kyle Waddell, Jr, Alexander Waddell, Haley Strong, and Jacob Strong; sisters, Joy Klutts and Iris Todd; brother, Michael Waddell.
