Howard Bruce Watts: Green Sea

    Howard Bruce Watts of Green Sea died Tuesday, May 19. He was 86.
     Born April 7, 1929 in Columbus County, he was the son of the late Bruce and Luemettie Watts.
    He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Arnette Watts of the home; two daughters, Tracy Watts and Mike Streeter of Conway, Tanya Blanton and husband Frankie of Simpsonville; three grandchildren, Adam Bruce Webster of Conway, Reynolds Watts Blanton and Charles Calhoun Blanton of Simpsonville; one great grandchild, Addison Laine Webster of Conway; two brothers: Jack Watts of Burlington and Jerry Watts of Tabor City; one sister, Janice Watts of Tabor City.
    He was preceded in death by one brother, Maxie Watts.
     He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and served in the Korean War.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carolina Baptist Church, 2401 Church Rd., Green Sea, SC 29545.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 in Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.
    A graveside service was planned for 2 p.m. Thursday, May 21 in the Carolina Baptist Church Cemetery, Green Sea.
