Brenda Gray Fields: Surfside Beach

    Brenda Gray Fields of Surfside Beach passed away Friday, June 5 at Waccamaw Community Hospital in Murrells Inlet following an illness. She was 62.
    Mrs. Fields was born on Sept. 24, 1952 in Loris, a daughter of the late Laverne Floyd and the late Lora Mae Fowler.
    Mrs. Fields worked with NHC Healthcare and was of the Baptist faith.
     Survivors include her daughters, Amanda Fields and Tammy Fields; her son, Ralph Fields, Jr.; three loving grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Laughter and Carolyn Beckham and her brother, Dennis Gray.
     Mrs. Fields was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Hayes Fields, Sr.  
     A Celebration of Life Service was held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 11 at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Reverend Chris Johnson officiating.
