Joyce Allen Harrelson: Tabor City

    Joyce Allen Harrelson of Tabor City died Monday, July 27 in her home. She was 71.
    Born in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Vance Allen Jr. and Emma Hewett Allen.
    She was the widow of James Roy Harrelson.
    She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Harrelson of Tabor City; and a sister, Shirley Fowler of Thomasville.
    She was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Allen, and a sister, Lois Todd.
    Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 29 in Inman Ward Funeral Home, Tabor City.
    Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Thursday, July 30 in the Inman Ward Chapel with burial in the Myrtle Green Cemetery, Tabor City.
