Isadell Floyd Cummings: Tabor City

    Isadell Floyd Cummings of Tabor City died Wednesday, July 29, in Columbus Regional Healthcare, Whiteville. She was 85.
    Born Dec. 5, 1929 in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Sam Floyd and Lessie Duboise Floyd.
    In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Herman Wallace Fowler and Wayne Cummings; a daughter, Phyllis Suggs; two brothers, Frank Floyd and J D Floyd; three sisters, Claudia Holden, Janie Norris, and Leoma Floyd; two grandchildren, Dean Smith and Angela Charles.
    She is survived by one son, Bill Fowler (Midge) of Tabor City; two daughters, Janice Smith (Leo) and Diane Smith (Kenneth) of Tabor City; a brother, Willie Floyd of Columbia; three step sons, Kenneth Cummings (Gladys), Jerry Cummings (Sylvia), Chris Cummings (Belinda), all of Lillington; seven grandchildren, Timmy Smith, Roy Smith, Joshua Smith, Joe Smith, Corey Smith, Billy Fowler, Stevie Suggs; 16 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
    Funeral Services were planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, in Dulah Baptist Church, Tabor City, with burial following in the Dulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Tabor City. Family planned to meet friends during the hour prior to the service in the church.
