Stephen Frederick Frotton: Nakina

    Stephen Frederick Frotton of Nakina died Wednesday, Aug. 5 in the Lower Cape Fear HospiceCenter, Whiteville. He was 71.
     Born Dec. 28, 1943 in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Joseph H. Frotton and Doris L. Dickinson Frotton.Mr. Frotton was a Veteran of the United States Navy.
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers.
    He is survived by his wife, Shirley Sasser Frotton of the home; two sons, Stephen Frotton and James Frotton; one daughter, Tracy Frotton; two step daughters, Cam McFadyen of Nichols and Tina Ivey of Fairmont; one step son, Jerry Ray McFadyen Jr. of Seattle, Washington; two sisters, Elaine Simpson of New York, and Rita Rogers of Maine.
    There will be no local services. Burial will be at sea.
