DJ Sarvis: Myrtle Beach

DJ Sarvis of Myrtle Beach passed away Thursday, Aug. 6. He was 29.
DJ was born Jan. 28, 1986 in Loris, a son of Danny and Connie Branton Sarvis. He graduated from Loris High School in 2004 and was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church.
DJ was also a Boy Scout Troop 822 Eagle Scout.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Johnny and Linda Branton, and his paternal grandfather, Donald Sarvis.
Survivors in addition to his parents of Loris include his fiancé, Sherry Reynolds of Myrtle Beach; two brothers, Cory Sarvis and Matthew Sarvis, both of Loris; a sister, Christy Colvin and her husband Billy of Conway; a niece and nephew, Ava Colvin and William Colvin, both of Conway; paternal grandmother Trudy Sarvis of Loris; and a special cousin, Lizzie Sarvis of Loris.
Visitation was planned from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9, at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel, with Rev. Scott Seckman officiating, burial following in the Cane Branch Baptist Church Cemetery.
