Drug trafficking warrants were served Thursday on a Beaverdam Community woman Thursday, Lt. Steven Worthington of the Columbus County Sheriff’s Office said.
Kellie Brook Cribb, 38, of Garland Duncan Road, Chadbourn, was charged with trafficking in opium/heroin by possession, sale, delivery, and transportation, Worthington said in a news release.
Cribb was held in the Columbus County Detention Center under a $50,000 secured bond.
Vice/Narcotics detectives made the arrest following a month-long investigation. Undercover detectives purchased prescription medication from Cribb as a part of their investigation, Worthington said.
Cribb served two and a half years in prison, ending in April 2011, on a 2009 conviction for selling prescription medication.
