Frankie Blackburn Quimby: Loris

1928 – 2015

    Frankie Blackburn Quimby of Loris passed away Tuesday, Sept. 22 at her home following an illness. She was 87.
    Mrs. Quimby was born on Aug. 23, 1928 in Loris, a daughter of the late Mr. Alonzo Preston Blackburn, Sr. and the late Mrs. Maggie Fowler Blackburn Ward.
     Survivors include her sister, Betty Ward Causey of Loris; two nephews, Jimmy Dale Causey of Nichols, and Michael Causey of Loris, and a special friend, Linda Bryant.
     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Quimby was predeceased by her husband, Roger Quimby and her brother, Alonzo Preston Blackburn, Jr.
     Visitation was planned from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25 at Hardwick Funeral Home, Loris.
     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25 at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Pastor Dr. Louis Venable officiating. Committal services were to be private.
    Visitation was planned from noon to 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25 at Hardwick Funeral Home, Loris.
