Ilene Denise Cook Albert of Tabor City died Friday, Sept. 25 in her home. She was 58.
Born March 17, 1957 in Robeson County, she was the daughter of the late Otis James Ganus and Naomi Grice Ganus.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Charles Albert; and one brother, Robert Ganus.
She is survived by two daughters, Candy Branton of Green Sea, Toni Workman of Tabor City; one son, Kevin Ganus of Davenport, Florida; three brothers, Kenny Ganus of Charleston, James Ganus of Ashboro, Terry Ganus of Loris; one sister, Barbara Wisener of Charlotte; one stepdaughter, Tammy Beeson; seven grandchildren, Kyra Stout Chapman, Sydney Kittell, Melanie Kittell, Ethan Kittell, Kenza Fowler, Ireland Floyd, Kristen Beeson.
A Memorial service was planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4 in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City.
Family planned to receive friends from 1:30 to 2 p.m. in the chapel prior to the service.
