Martha P. Parker: Longs

1938 – 2015

    Martha P. Parker of Longs, age 77, passed away Monday, Oct. 5.
    Mrs. Parker was born in Chester, a daughter of the late William Frank and Ethel Patrick.  
      Mrs. Parker was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Daniel B. Parker, Sr.; one brother, John F. Patrick; and three sisters, Janie James, Betty Raines, and Barbara Hoven.
    Survivors include two sons, Danny Parker of Loris and Stanley Parker of Longs; one daughter, Joyce P. Taylor; six grandchildren; three brothers, William G. Patrick, Claude V. Patrick, and Grady H. Patrick; one sister, Bertha Watkins.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
    Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 8 at United Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie Johnson and Mr. Ricky Williams officiating, burial following in Livingston Cemetery.
    The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the third station at Conway Manor for all their wonderful care.
