Lloyd Davis Bryant Sr.: North Myrtle Beach

1934 – 2015

    Lloyd Davis Bryant Sr.  of North Myrtle Beach age 81 died Monday, Oct. 12 in McLeod Seacoast hospital, Little River. He was 81.
      Born April 29, 1934 in Horry County, he was the son of the late James Harley Bryant and Neona Holt Bryant.  
    In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Doris Stanley Bryant; and one sister, Pauline Jenerette.
    He is survived by one son, Lloyd Davis Bryant, Jr., of Nakina; one daughter, Rita Bryant Preston of North Myrtle Beach; three brothers, James Clemson Bryant of Saratoga Springs, New York, Walter Milton Bryant of Denton, Billy Bryant of Conway; two grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one step great grandchild.
    Funeral services were planned for 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15 in the  Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City, with burial following in the Stanley Cemetery, Nakina. Visitation was planned for the hour prior to the service, in the chapel.
