William Pink “King” Cox: Loris
1939 – 2015
William Pink “King” Cox of Loris passed away Friday, Nov. 13, at his home following an illness. He was 76.
Mr. Cox was born on August 6, 1939 in Loris, SC. Mr. Cox was a retired farmer and a longtime member of Freedom Baptist Church.
Survivors include his three sons, Lynn Cox, Brian Cox and Greg Cox; a brother, Lewis Wayne Cox of Tabor City; a sister, Linda Cook of Loris; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Cox was predeceased by his wife, Ann Cissie Holmes Cox, his father, Lewis Jackson Cox and his mother, Dalma Cox.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Reverend Mark Hughes and Reverend Mack Hutson officiating. Committal services followed at Twin City Memorial Gardens.
