Peggy Parker Mishoe: Loris
1935 – 2015
Peggy Parker Mishoe of Loris, affectionately known as “MeMa” by her family and close friends, passed away Sunday, Nov. 15 at McLeod Loris Hospital. She was 80.
Mrs. Mishoe was born July 24, 1935 in La Fayette, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Presley Parker and the late Lillie Mae White Parker.
Survivors include her son, Ricky Mishoe; daughter, Betty Mishoe Conner; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald “D.L.” Parker and Harlyn Parker; three sisters, Flora Mae Booth, Ann McLemore and Sue Kramer.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mishoe was predeceased by her husband, Clayton Boyd Mishoe, one granddaughter, Meagan Elizabeth Conner and one sister, Margaret Parker Bullock.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18 at Beulah Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Rogers and Chaplain Eddie Hill officiating. Committal services followed at Cane Branch Cemetery.
