Mary Small Williamson: Tabor City

1942 – 2015

    Mary Small Williamson of Tabor City died Wednesday, Nov. 25 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice & LifeCareCenter in Whiteville. She was 73.
    Born Jan. 20, 1942 in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late Alton C. Small and Lillie Mae Etheridge Small.
    Mrs. Williamson was a graduate of Green Sea High School, Class of 1959.
    She is survived by one daughter, Frances “Fran” Small and husband Craig of Tabor City; two grandchildren, Graison Small and Justin Davis; fiancé: Jamilyn Smith; like a daughter, Brenda Brigman of Loris; best friend, Virginia Davis of Thomasville; three sisters, Donna Shelley of Lexington, Betty Birchmore of Florence, Judy Johnson of Gilbert; one brother, Billy Small of Loris; five sister in laws, Betsy Grainger of Tabor City, Patsy Caduei of Tennessee; Linda Buffkin of Green Sea, Carolyn Buffkin of Green Sea, Edith Williams of Fayetteville; and several nieces and nephews.
     In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husbands, Kenneth Grainger and James Edward Williamson; and one brother, Alton Eddie Smith.
    Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 28 in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
