Eunice Mae Ward Worley Richardson: Clarendon
1935 – 2016
Eunice Mae Ward Worley Richardson of Clarendon passed away Sunday, Feb. 14, at Liberty Commons Health Care and Rehabilitation in Whiteville. She was 80.
Born Aug. 15, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Emory and Georgia Todd Ward.
Surviving are sisters, Velma Worley and Dessie Stanley Richardson; four children, Patsy Worley Bell of Hallsboro, Peggy Worley Nolan and Debra “Crickett” Worley Stubbs of Wilmington, and Michael Worley of Mollie; eight grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, E.B. Worley, Jr. and Dennis Richardson; brothers Joseph Mac Ward, Paul Ward, Earl Ward; and sisters Pauline Rhodes Blackburn, and Earline Stanley.
Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 16, in Inman Ward Funeral Home, Tabor City. Family planned to receive friends at other times at the home of Justin and Trina Worley, 5474 Sidney Cherry Grove Road, Tabor City.
Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 17 in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel in Tabor City, with burial following in the Cherry Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Cerro Gordo.
