Eula “Meme” Caudill Hardee: Loris

1929 – 2016
Eula “Meme” Caudill Hardee of Loris passed away Wednesday, Feb. 17 at her home following an illness. She was 86.
Mrs. Hardee was born on Aug. 8, 1929 in Abingdon, Virginia, the daughter of the late James Nelson Caudill and the late Josephine Price Caudill. Mrs. Hardee retired from Kroger in North Myrtle Beach where she worked in the bakery and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice D. Roberts of Loris; two grandchildren, Glenn Allen Roberts of Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and Michelle Roberts Gerald and husband, Brent of Loris; their father, Kyle Dean Roberts of Charleston; four great-grandchildren, Catrina D. Buchman, Brantlee K. Gerald, Ashlynn K. Roberts and Raina G. Gerald; one sister, Virginia Kendrick of Bristol, Tennessee and many loving stepchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank You” to Brooke, Qita, Danny and Jennifer with InCare Hospice for their compassionate care during this difficult time.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hardee was predeceased by her husband, Isaac “Ike” Belton Hardee; four sisters, Irene Reynolds, Estelle Caudill, Delta Shupe and Virgie Lee Caudill and her brother, Henry Caudill.
Graveside services were planned for 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21 at Twin City Memorial Gardens with Reverend Alvin Jackson officiating.
