Ernest Wayne Hardee, Sr.: Loris

1954 – 2016

    Ernest Wayne Hardee, Sr. of Loris passed away Saturday, Feb.  27, 2016 in Grand Strand Regional Medical Center following an illness. He was 62.
    He was born Feb. 18, 1954 in Loris, a son of the late Ernest Claude Hardee and the late Marva Lee Collins Hardee.  
    Mr. Hardee was a U. S. Army Veteran, an electrician for many years and a heavy equipment operator.  
    Survivors include his children, Jerri Kay Hardee  and Jeremy Wayne Hardee, both of Loris, Justin Wayne Hardee of Springtown, Texas and the mother of his children, Sarah Ruth Foley of Loris.
      He is also survived by his brother, Michael Lynn Hardee of Loris and his sister, Wanda Collins of Galivants Ferry and five grandchildren.
    In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Ernest Wayne Hardee, Jr.
    Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 1 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel with Robert Ellis Brown officiating, burial following at the Hardee Family Farm. Visitation was planned for the hour prior to the service.
