Joshua Zane Strickland: Nichols

1982 – 2016

    Joshua Zane Strickland of Nichols passed away Sunday, Feb. 28. He was 33.
    Mr. Strickland was born in Myrtle Beach, a son of Jerry I. and Marsha B. Strickland.  He was a member of Nichols Baptist Church and was formerly employed with the NC Department of Corrections
    He was predeceased by one brother, Zachary Kyle Strickland; paternal grandparents, Brice and Velma Strickland; and maternal grandparents, William and Dorothy Bellamy.
     Survivors in addition to his parents of Nichols include his daughter, Trinity Jade Strickland of Myrtle Beach and her mother Marcia Barera; his son, Zackary Bryce Strickland of Florence.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 3 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
     Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Friday, March 4 at Grace Baptist Church of Horry County with Rev. John Wallace and Rev. Marcus Fowler officiating, burial following in the Martin Family Cemetery.
