Jerrell McMahan: Loris

1935 – 2016

    Jerrell McMahan of Loris passed away Thursday, March 3. He was 81.
    Mr. McMahan was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and a friend to many. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
    Mr. McMahan was predeceased by his wife, Patricia McMahan; his mother, Edna Scarpelli; a grandson, Matthew White; and a brother, Lenny Garver.
    Survivors include two sons, Gerald McMahan and his wife Sharon of Brunswick, Ohio and Robert McMahan and his wife Debra of North Olmsted, Ohio; two daughters, Karen White and her husband Larry of North Olmsted, Ohio and Brenda McMahan of Loris; a brother, Vic Scarpelli of Colorado; and a sister, Theresa Tytko and her husband John of Brecksville, Ohio; seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
    Family planned to receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 7, with a prayer service at 6 p.m. , at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
    A funeral service was planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, at Twin City Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Deacon Jim Collins officiating.
