Lannie Ann Whiting Fox: Aynor

1925 – 2016

    Lannie Ann Whiting Fox of Aynor passed away Thursday, March 17 at her home following an illness. She was 90.
    Born on Sept. 9, 1925 in Sissonville, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Frank Whiting and the late Leona Brightwell Whiting.
     Survivors include her husband, Freeland “Bud” Fox of the home; one son, Matthew Fox of Aynor; two daughters, Patsy Bell of Homosassa, Florida and Sue Counts of Groveport, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a special brother in law, Rev. Colter Fox of Loris.
     In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fox was predeceased by two sons, Gary Slater and Glenn Franklin Slater.
     Funeral services were held 3 p.m. Saturday, March 19 at Mt. Trolley Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Marty Cox officiating. Committal services followed at Mt. Trolley Cemetery.
