Patsy Johnson: Tabor City

1943 – 2016

    Patsy Johnson of Tabor City died Friday, April 15 in McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. She was 72.
    She was born Nov. 3, 1943 in Columbus County, the daughter of the late Lester A. Johnson and Bessie Fowler Johnson.
    She is survived by a son, Shawn Fipps of Tabor City; a brother, Tony Johnson of Tabor City; a sister, JoAnne Stinson of N. Augusta, South Carolina; life partner of 38 years,  Mr. Gene Dunn of Tabor City.
     She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jackie Johnson and Buck Johnson; a sister, Doris Shelley.
    Family planned to receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Tuesday, April 19, at Peacock Funeral Home, Whiteville.
    A graveside funeral service was planned for 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at Collins Cemetery in Green Sea, officiated by Rev. Billy Roy.
