Guy C. Williams: Loris

1935 – 2016

    Guy C. Williams of Loris passed away Tuesday, April 19. He was 80.
     Born June 4, 1935 in Spring Hope, he was the son of the late Guy Harvey Williams and the late Eula Winstead Williams.
    Mr. Williams was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a faithful member of Loris First Baptist Church. He was the owner of Williams Jewelers, Inc. for 33 years.
    He was predeceased by one brother, Gilbert Williams.
     Survivors include his loving wife of 49 years, Jenny Williams of Loris; his daughter, Betsy W. Todd  of Myrtle Beach; three grandchildren; his sister, Laura Bland “MaMa Bland” Green of Spring Hope.
     Family planned to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 22 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
     Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, April 23 at Loris First Baptist Church officiated by Dr. Louis Venable, Rev. Gary Farmer, and Mr. Ronald Fowler. Burial, with military honors, was to follow at Twin City Memorial Gardens.
