Edna Earl Fowler Turbeville: Tabor City
1939 – 2016
Edna Earl Fowler Turbeville of Ponce de Leon, Florida and Tabor City, died peacefully in her home on Thursday, May 12. She was 77.
Edna was born on Feb. 22, 1939 in Tabor City to Kirby and Eunice Fowler. She married David Turbeville in 1953 and after moving to Cocoa, Florida, Edna began working for Brevard County Schools and later began working for Scotty’s Supply where she retired after 20 years.
Edna is survived by her sons, Ronnie (Patty) Turbeville of Panama City Beach, Florida and Lonnie Turbeville of Cocoa, Florida; four grandchildren, Gayle, David (Jennifer), Dale (Tiffiny) and Cody and six great-grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn Johnson (Richard), Judy Cartrette (Don) and brothers, Jack (Gloria) Fowler and Tim (Nell) Fowler.
Her husband, David and three brothers, Roger, Shelton, and Otis preceded her in death.
A “Celebration of Life” was held Sunday, May 15.
