Beatrice Hardee Todd: Loris

1931 – 2016
Beatrice Hardee Todd of Loris passed away Saturday, May 21, at Conway Manor following an illness. She was 85.
Born March 24, 1931 in Loris, she was the daughter of the late John Goal Hardee and the late Zellie Victoria Gilmore Hardee. Mrs. Todd was a loving homemaker, a retired farmer and attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her two sons, Dale T. Todd and wife, Debra and Edwin D. Todd; three grandchildren, Kimberly D. Sweatt and husband, Chris, Brandon D. Todd and wife, Kristen and Kevin D. Todd and wife, Rebecca; two great-grandchild, C.J. Sweatt and Mackenzie Todd all of Loris; and one sister, Marie Harrell and husband, Clint of Suffolk, Virginia.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Todd was predeceased by her husband, Needham Thomas Todd; two brothers, Lloyd Hardee and Berkley Hardee; three sisters, Alberta Brinson, Catherine Cox and Margaret Jacobs; and two infant brothers, Bertie and Durham Hardee.
The family would like to extend a special “Thank you” to the staff of Conway Manor, Unit 3, for their excellent care, love and support for the past three years. They would also like to thank Caris Hospice for their care and support.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, at Hardwick Memorial Chapel with Reverend Mack Hutson officiating. Committal services followed at Twin City Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
