Helen Nobles Nance: Bladenboro

1922 – 2016

    Helen Nobles Nance of Bladenboro, age 94, went to her heavenly home Friday, June 24. She was 94.
    Helen was born May 19, 1922, the daughter of Herbert Nobles and Christine Vera Nobles of Clarendon.
    She was preceded in death by her husband, V.W. “Bill” Nance; two children, Jerry Nance and Larry Nance; two grandchildren; and eighteen brothers and sisters.
    She is survived by five children, Shirley Haney, Janice Dowless, Terry Nance, Sara Lewis, and Gerry Nance, 21 grandchildren; and 52 great grandchildren.
    In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, 206 Warrior Trail Rd, Whiteville, NC 28472.
    A graveside service was planned for 1 p.m. Sunday, June 26, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
