Farming always brought Paul peace. He believed it was a partnership with God. Paul planted the seeds, He made them grow.
At the young age of 18, Paul learned how to farm from his father working on the family farm, Gore Farms. Paul also ran Gore Nursery for 20 years. The plants and flowers first sired by his hand at the nursery are now thriving in the gardens of his nieces Myra Gore and Kathy Gore Simmons.
Paul was a member of Farm Bureau and received a plaque recognizing his 36 years of service.
Known for his sense of humor, Paul always greeted you with a smile and a story. Paul never met a stranger and was known and loved by all the community and will be missed; but at heart he was a simple farmer, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
