Peggy Jean Howton Norris: Bolton

1940 – 2016

    Peggy Jean Howton Norris of  Bolton died Tuesday, June 28 in her home. She was 75.
    Born Aug. 7, 1940 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late J.D. Howton and Glenn Avis Skelton and the widow of Gene Clifton Norris, Sr.
    She is survived by two sons, Teddy Wedgeworth, and William Wedgeworth, both of St. Petersburg, Florida; one daughter, Marilyn Owen of Fall River, Massachusetts; two step-children, Gene Clifton Norris II of Hampstead and Kevin Norris of Tabor City; two brothers, Thomas Howton and Kenneth Howton, both of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; four sisters, Glenda Killinger of Franklin, Pennsylvania, Patricia Christian of Birmingham, Alabama, Theresa Olson of Smyrna, Tennessee, Rhonda McGuff of Tuscaloosa, Alkabama; five grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.
    The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
    A memorial service was planned for 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 6 in Bolton United Methodist Church, Bolton. Family planned to receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church.
