John William “Billy” Benoche: Green Sea

1934 – 2016

    John William “Billy” Benoche of Green Sea died Thursday, July 28, in his home. He was 81.
    Born August 26, 1934 in Fayetteville, he was the son of the late John H. and Geneva Russell Benoche.
    He is survived by his wife, Ann Marie Benoche of Green Sea; a son, Ronnie Benoche of Tabor City; three daughters, Kathy Stieh of and Tammy Galley of Newport News, Virginia, and Linda Watts of Tabor City; a brother, Jack Benoche of Newport News, Virginia; 11 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
    In addition to his parent he was preceded in death by a son, William Benoche; and a daughter, Barbara Watts.
    A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 29, in the Carolina Baptist Church Cemetery, Green Sea.
