Ezeary Lee Ward: Green Sea

1934 – 2016

    Ezeary Lee Ward of Green Sea died Sunday, July 31, in her home. She was 81.
    Born in Horry County, she was the daughter of the late James Gurtha Ward and Lettie Johnson Ward.
    She is survived by three brothers, Elroy Ward (Sarah) and Ernest Ward (Wanda) of Green Sea and Lonnie Ward (Hilda) of Tabor City; two sisters, Mary Edwards (Tom) of Tabor City and Juanita Nobles of Tabor City; and lifelong companion W. C. Puckett.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Ralph Ward, Carl Ward, James Ward, Billy Ward; and two sisters, Louise Bozeman and Ruby Fowler.
    Visitation was planned from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 1, in Inman Ward Funeral Home, Tabor City.
    Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2, in Carolina Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
