Henyard Caines: Loris

1936 – 2016

    Henyard Caines of Loris passed away Friday, Aug. 5. He was 80.
    Mr. Caines was born in Loris, a son of the late Baynard Coligney and Golie Gerald Caines. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
    Survivors include his wife, Billie Faye Blackburn Caines; four children, Naomi C. Crean of North Myrtle Beach, Kelly C. Davis of North Waterboro, Maine, William Henyard Caines Jr. and Guy Neil Caines of Loris; two sisters, Velda C. Ledbetter of Myrtle Beach and Nelda C. Lane of Ashville; a brother, Gerald Caines of Loris; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 8, in Loris First Baptist Church with Dr. Louis Venable and Rev. Tyler Caines officiating, burial following in Twin City Memorial Gardens.
    Family planned to receive friends at the church during the hour prior to the funeral.
