Brenda Strickland Winburn: Conway

1962 – 2016

    Brenda Strickland Winburn of Conway passed away Wednesday, Aug. 17, at her home. She was 53.
    She was born in Horry County, a daughter of the late William “Bill” and Helen Strickland.
    She was also predeceased by a brother, Mark Strickland and a sister, Linda Canady.
    Survivors include her husband, Royce Winburn of Conway; a son, Ray Herring of Conway; two brothers, Roger Strickland and Sammy Strickland all of Thomasville; four sisters, Sandra Long of Thomasville, Wanda Jernigan of Green Sea, Carolyn Strickland of Conway, and Bonnie Rabon of Loris; two uncles, Elgie Strickland and Bobby Strickland both of Loris; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, in Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel.
    Funeral services were planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at Cane Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Jon Johnson officiating, burial following in Jernigan Cemetery.
