Patricia Diane Stevens Spivey: Whiteville

1946 – 2016

    Patricia Diane Stevens Spivey of Whiteville died Wednesday, Aug. 31 in Columbus Regional Healthcare, Whiteville. She was 70.
    Born July 12, 1946 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Ruther Stevens and Esther Duncan Stevens.
    She is survived by her husband, Willard Spivey of Whiteville; three daughters, Darlene Cannon of Tabor City, Charlene Langlois of Baltimore, Maryland, Michelle Tryon of Whiteville; three sons, Donald Spivey of Tabor City, Mickey Reese of Clarendon, Edward Reese of Whiteville; one sister, Jeanette Cartrette of Loris; two half-sisters, Ponice Gerald of Tabor City, Tammy Buffkin of Ash; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Suggs, and a brother Ruther “Bobby” Stevens Jr.
    Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3 in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City.
    Visitation was planned for the hour prior to the service in the chapel.
