Larry Rae Fowler: Jacksonville, Fla.

1942 – 2016

    Larry Rae Fowler of Jacksonville, Florida died Sept. 1 at UF Health Jacksonville, Jacksonville, Florida. He was 73.
    Mr. Fowler was born Nov. 1, 1942 in Tabor City to Olive Pearl Fowler and Forest Fowler.
    He relocated to Jacksonville, Florida in the early 1960’s.
    He is survived by his daughter, Leslie Rae Miller (Greg); step- son, Kenneth Prater, Jr. (Jill); two sisters, Barbara Housand (Billy), Suzanne McKillop; a brother, Kenneth Fowler; three granddaughters, Heather Miller, Rachel Miller, Caitlin Miller; a grandson, Lee Prater; niece, Marsha Housand Strutz; nephew, Bryan Housand (Amanda) and three great nieces, Courtney Sturtz, Jordan Sturtz and Brinkley Housand.
    In honoring Mr. Fowler’s wishes his final resting place will be in Tabor City beside his mother.
