Ruby Neil Dudley Suggs: Tabor City

1928 – 2016

    Ruby Neil Dudley Suggs of Tabor City died Wednesday, Sept. 14 in the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCareCenter, Whiteville. She was 88.
    Born Aug. 27, 1928 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Dewey Lee Dudley and Gladys Evelyn Stevens Dudley and the widow of the late Herbert Eugene Suggs.
    She is survived by one daughter, Linda Renee Suggs of Tabor City; two sons, Eugene Neil Suggs of Tabor City, Charles Willard Dudley of Tabor City; one brother, D.L. Dudley of Garner; two sisters, Mary Lois Lee of Casselberry, Florida, Ella Gray Scott of Tavares, Florida; five grandchildren; Carl Willard Dudley, Keith Puckett, Brianna Jena Throckmorton, Cameron Neil Suggs, Dana Dudley and two great grandchildren; Chase Dudley, Savanah Gray Dudley.
    In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by three brothers; Wilson Dudley, Edward Dudley and Paul Dudley.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 16  in Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.
    Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 in Dulah Baptist Church, Tabor City with burial following in Old Zion Cemetery, Tabor City.
