Patty Tompkins Updike: Tabor City

1962 – 2016

    Patty Tompkins Updike of Tabor City died Sunday, Sept. 18, in her home. She was 53.
    Born Sept. 22, 1962 in Loris, she was the daughter of Doris Ward Tompkins and the late Bennie Tompkins.
    In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Arthur G. Updike Jr. of Tabor City; and two sisters, Sandra T. Soles (Nelson) and Gayle T. Smith (Lanford) both of Tabor City.
    A graveside service was planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City.
