Sylvia Reeder Moore: Loris

1936 – 2016

    Sylvia Reeder Moore of Loris passed away Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016 at her residence. She was 80.
    She was born Sept. 16, 1936 in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Lee Reeder and the late Helen Fulton Reeder. She was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church in North Myrtle Beach.
    She was predeceased by two sons, Leonard Keith Moore and Jeffery Lynn Moore; a granddaughter, Tiffany Moore Causey; and a sister, Eileen Brooks.
    Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Leonard F. Moore of Loris; a daughter, Rochelle Moore Anderson of Little River; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
    Family planned to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Loris Chapel. Prior to visitation family requested private time at their home.
    A Mass of Christian Burial was planned for 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 29, from Catholic Church of the Resurrection in Loris, burial following in Twin City Memorial Gardens.
