Estalene Long Faulk: Tabor City

1931 – 2016

    Estalene Long Faulk of Tabor City passed away peacefully Sunday, Oct. 23 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Whiteville. She was 85.
    She was born Oct. 16, 1931 to the late Walter Emerson “Duff” Long and Evie Lula Jones Long.
    Estalene was preceded in death by her husband, William Gilbert Faulk; parents Walter and Lula Long; two brothers, William Jesse Long and James Norman Long, and two sisters, Nettie Mae Long Etheridge and Eula Gray Long Register.
     She is survived by her three children, William Gary Faulk, Darla Faulk Fowler  and Kelvin Faulk; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
    She is also survived by some special nieces and nephews.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24 at Peacock Funeral Home in Whiteville.
    Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 in the chapel at Peacock Funeral Home, Whiteville.
