Jimmie D. Elliott: Galivants Ferry

1938 – 2016

    Jimmie D. Elliott of Galivants Ferry went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Nov. 15. He was 78.
    Mr. Elliott was born in Horry County, a son of the late Bernie and Marie Elliott
    Mr. Elliott was a US Army Veteran.
     Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Genice F. Elliott of Galivants Ferry; one son, Floyd D. Elliott of Boiling Springs; one granddaughter, Addison Marie Elliott of Boiling Springs; four brothers, Glen Elliott of Galivants Ferry, Terry Elliott of Nebo, Donald Elliott of Ridgeway, and Rev. Gene Elliott of Johnson City, Tenneessee; one sister, Donna Johnson of Galivants Ferry.
    Funeral services were planned for noon Friday, Nov. 18 at Zoan United Methodist  Church with Rev. John Watts, Mr. Glen Elliott, and Rev. Gene Elliott officiating, burial following in the church cemetery. 
    Family planned to receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.
