Carolyn Louise Ward: Whiteville

1964 – 2016

    Carolyn Louise Ward of Whiteville died Saturday, Nov. 19 in New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington. She was 52.
    Born May 2, 1964, she was the daughter of Katherine Louise Roberts Sarvis and the late James S. Sarvis.
    In addition to her mother, she is survived by three sons, Ray (Shana Staley) Ward of Whiteville, Willie (Tracy) Ward of Daytona, Florida, Chris Ward of Whiteville; two sisters, Loretta (Kelton) Batten of Nakina, Debbie (Matthew) Simmons of Nakina; one brother, Allen Sarvis of Whiteville; and six grandchildren, Averi, Kayden, Jackson, Andrew, Mason, and Brantley Ward.
    Visitation was planned from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22 in Inman Ward Funeral Home of Tabor City.
    Funeral services were planned for 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 23 in Cypress Creek Freewill Baptist Church, Nakina, with burial following in Hosea Simmons Cemetery, Nakina.
