Reba Mills Jolly: Tabor City

1927 – 2016
Reba Mills Jolly of Tabor City died Friday, Dec. 30, in Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center, Whiteville. She was 89.
Born January 3, 1927 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late Egbert and Osro Gilmore Mills and the widow of Ralph M. Jolly.
She is survived by two sons, William Jolly (Brenda) of Whiteville and Thomas Jolly (Gail) of Tabor City; a daughter, Jean Spivey (Worth) of Garner; three grandchildren, Erin Hall, Jarred Jolly, Andrew Worley; three great grandchildren, Stone Hall, Kaylyn Hall, Alex Worley; and a dear friend, Shirley Bragg.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Lee Mills, Worth Mills, Ashley Mills, Wilson Mills; and two sisters, Veata James, and Burnell Stanley.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Iron Hill Baptist Church, 22247 Peacock Road, Tabor City, NC 28463.
Funeral services were planned for 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 1, in the Inman Ward Funeral Home Chapel, Tabor City. Burial followed in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City. Family planned to receive friends during the hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
