Judson Benjamin Cox: Loris

1945 – 2017

     Judson Benjamin Cox of Loris passed away Thursday, Jan. 19. He was 71.
     Mr. Cox  was born in Horry County a son of Thelma Cox Joyner and the late Henson Berry Cox, Sr.  He was a member of Loris First Presbyterian Church and worked with Santee Cooper for 30 years. 
     He was predeceased by his daughter, Kelly Anne Cox.
     Survivors, in addition to his mother of Conway,  include his wife of 35 years, Pat Cox of Loris; one daughter, Angel Bryan of Pawleys Island; two grandchildren; one brother, H.B. Cox, Jr. of Conway; two sisters, Patsy Ray and Tammy McDowell, both of Conway.
     Graveside funeral services were planned for 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23 at Mt. Herman Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Holmes officiating. Family planned to receive friends in the church fellowship hall immediately following the services.
