Can’t hear me now? Verizon wants to know

Verizon cell phone customers who have experienced reception issues since Hurricane Matthew blew through the region last October should tell the provider, Columbus County Commissioner Trent Burroughs says he’s been told.
County leaders and residents have been asking Verizon for answers for months, Burroughs said, without any satisfactory response.
County Manager Bill Clark met with a Verizon representative recently, and was told “everything is technically correct,” Burroughs said.
“That’s just not my experience,” Burroughs said. “I asked Mr. Clark to tell Verizon that we continue to have issues in Tabor City.”
