Desiree C. Rowe: Nichols

1945 – 2017

     Desiree C. Rowe of Nichols died Wednesday May 31, at McLeod Loris hospital in Loris. She was 72.

     She was born in Marion County, on April 21, 1945, a daughter to the late Furman and Letha Wilson Collins.

     Surviving is her husband, Ronald Lee Rowe of the home; two sons, Shawn Lee Rowe of Tabor City and Ronnie Lee Rowe, Jr. of Clarendon; one brother, Furman Collins; four sisters, Eloise Blackwell of Conway, Vernalee Floyd of Fair Bluff, Zella Phillips of Nichols, Mabellean Perret of Tabor City; and four grandchildren.

     Family planned to receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, June 2, at Meares Funeral Home in Fair Bluff.

     A graveside service was planned for 11 a.m. Saturday, June 3, at the Buffkin-Rowe Cemetery in Horry County, with the Rev. Kevin Garris officiating.
