Doris Pearl Rowe: Tabor City

1946 – 2017

     Doris Pearl Rowe of Tabor City died Monday, July 17 in Tabor Commons. She was 70.

     Born July 31, 1946 in Columbus County, she was the daughter of the late John C. Williams and Ora Mac Todd Williams and the widow of Jimmy Nathaniel Rowe, Sr.

     She is survived by one son, Jimmy Nathaniel “Jim Bob” Rowe, Jr. of Tabor City; two daughters, Julie Ann Jacobs of Cerro Gordo, Deborah Jean Rowe of Tabor City; two brothers, John C. “Buddy” Williams of Socastee, Kenneth Ray Williams of Phoenix, Arizona; three grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

     In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three sisters: Wanda Williams, Jean Williams, and Brenda Williams.

     A graveside memorial was planned for 3 p.m. Friday, July 21 in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
